Permalink Reply by C Dogg on July 2, 2012 at 1:56pm That's a shame. I was looking forward to watching him. I watched the "Sports Reporters" yesterday and they all thought Davis would and should make the team. Two of the reporters thought he should make the team primarily to help him gain experience because he will likely be on future teams. Bob Ryan had more of an opinion of: regardless of the future; they could use him on the team right now.
awhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that so sucks :( I so feel sorry for him he has beens so healthy! He was looking forward to the experience and time with those pro's. :(

Permalink Reply by Kentucky Sports Network on July 4, 2012 at 9:36am Yahoo Sports reported late last night that Davis will report to camp on Wednesday. Anthony's ankle injury wasn't as severe as first thought and he could start working out within a week.
Permalink Reply by The Krystal Ball on July 4, 2012 at 10:42am Well that is certainly great news...I even changed the title of the thread.
Permalink Reply by Rob Elliott on July 5, 2012 at 8:14am If Coach K has any brains he will put him on the team. There is no goaltending rule in the international game. Should be block city for Davis.
Permalink Reply by The Krystal Ball on July 6, 2012 at 11:30am So the team is going to be announced Saturday night in a special on NBA TV.
Supposedly Rudy Gay has already gotten one of the spots, that leaves Davis, Blake Griffin and three other guys I can't remember fighting for two spots.
