This quote is very true, yet some fans won't like who said it...

"It's better to have a good player with the basketball in late game situations than to have plays."

Very true. I think the coach who said it probably needs to add.... "except if the player is a freshman and then our offense and defense are too complicated for him to be in the game."

Dean Smith probably would disagree with this quote. As Billy Tubbs once famously said, "Dean Smith is the only person who could hold Michael Jordan to less than 20 points per game."
