Former Cat Derrick Locke has signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Training Camps are going on now and if Locke makes the team, the season starts June 30th.
All signs are indicating Derrick Locke is good to go.
Coach Hufnagel gave the official word that the new running back, signed Monday to replace Bryson Tucker, is to get a look against Saskatchewan.
“Derek Locke is a very interesting young man,” Hufnagel said. “He came in and pretty well immersed himself in the playbook and understands a great deal. So, I think he’ll be ready to play Friday night.”
