It looks as if everyone has followed Save to another location. There is not much need for me to hang around, there seems to be no one posting but me, however I will just browse the web sites for my information, I will not follow the crowd. GCGC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calm down for a second ukforlife.
While I realize you've started 6 brand new posts in the last few hours, today is Derby Day and a lot of us have either been at the Derby or at Derby parties with friends most of the day. We love UK, but there isn't a lot of big news to send everyone scrambling for their computers today.
All is well.

Hi Jim, I watched the Derby on TV and really enjoyed it. I love KY and am proud to be a Kentucky Colonel and have been a Colonel since 1985. I have never had the opportunity to attend a Derby but try to watch every year. I watched the Triple Crown when Secretariat took the three races. (really awesome). I appreciate you replying to my post and even when I don't have a lot to say. I just looked at the post and the replies and I said to myself , ( :-0 Whoa!! you are hogging the forum, so I thought I should back off. I really like the post and the posters on this forum. I got a kick from Coach Cal starting the race by saying "Rider's UP." Looking forward to when he say's"the race is on for #9."

topics/discussions but lot of us are just lurchers (like me). You make a good point... some of us lurchers need to take baby steps and move from the stands to the court. You know, show support by participating.
Keep up the good work. After all you are ukforlife. You are needed here by BBN.
I do appreciate and admire everyone who starts a topic and enjoy reading peoples' responses. People, keep on posting ....
I registered on this site about 2 yrs ago but never did post anything. However, I came to this site regularly and read almost all the posts. Now I do realize that I can't be a silent participant and I need to contribute by at least getting involved in some of the discussions. So I'll start doing my part by contributing more (at least in the discussions).
But nobody better piss me off ... Gotcha. just kidding.
Ok, so people like me who are shy, afraid, (fill in your particular reason), etc...
alright start posting because:
No response is wrong - sometimes it's just a different opinion.
No response is stupid - it's just a "say what?" moment. Avoid that.. I'm kidding again. Anything goes...
Listen to Jim, Profit from his posts. He is a smart one - I've read a lot of his topics/reponses. He is an active member (See, I told you guys/gals I do read your posts).
And that Gal Faith...She is the funny one.. (see, I'm not lying, I do read..)

Faith is a HOOT!! I think she brings a little refreshment to the forum with her just kidding comments. We can enjoy the humor a midst the more serious post of UK sports. We understand the reason why we are here on the forum, that being UK sports and especially UK basketball. Opinions, likes and facts, all make for a good forum. Thank you for being honest about your presence and non presence. The forum needs more people to be active, that way I don't have to continually read my post, I find it gets boring after the second time. :-)

ukforlife.i was a frequent member on here last year. then my computer crashed. and being a truck driver and not being home much. i just got back on here so you stay right where you are and i promise to be a speaker here as much as i can. and maby we can get save back too. ron

Sounds good to me, the more the better, I appreciate you and many like you who sacrifice home time to deliver the goods. W/O people like you we would have to do with a lot less. Truck drivers take a bad rap but You are a special breed.

No fear or worries UK4life. I was not a member last summer but my dad and husband was and they said in the off season it is usually slow. There is not much news or Media releases to talk about. I would guess most people like my husband and I are also enjoying the nice weather and happy to have some sun and warm weather to be outside after being trapped indoors all winter. Then their was the Derby too so be patient and keep ya posting and hooking us up with info. :)

The other thing is there isn't much going on right now. We had the White House thing, but as far as recruiting goes, it is a wait and watch type of thing. We know who the remaining targets are, their dates, and what other schools are interested. My eyes are afixed to to the NBA right now and watching the former Cats do work.

I haven't been able to post because I have been working at Churchill all weekend at the Derby. Nothing like lightning and severe thunderstorms to help make a TV broadcast a little more fun.
Things are a little slow right now..not much going on...some of our most prolific posters have a lot going on right now.
