I, too, am impressed that they all seem to be on the same page. They know they are struggling defensively and that they are not communicating out on the court and they know they really need to work on it. I think we are going to be fine in the end. They are young but it sounds like they are working hard. Proud of them!; ▶ Reply to This

1) Cal wasn't known as a defensive coach
2) we weren't so young and inexperienced
3) we didn't have elite talent
4) most important - if the players seemed to be arguing with the coach, fighting among each other, point fingers, etc etc etc....

However, they are young and inexperienced, we do have a defensive minded coach, we do have elite talent, and our players are taking ownership of their areas of weakness; ▶ Reply to This
