Louisville would not make it past Ohio State, much less BYU. lol. i like the late round matchup possibility with Huggins and WVU, i understand why card fans don't like him, lol. he can coach, but you just want to punch him in the mouth, or armbar him, or something. the one thing that is killing me this year is that UNC will probably be going to the NIT, i hate that for basketball, but other teams deserve it more.

Syracuse and that Boeheim 2-3 zone are looking pretty good, i think they are number 1 in the country right now, UK #2, and Kansas #3. just my opinion.

I agree that a 2nd round game against Baylor would be tough. I feel like a lot of tough teams have dropped some games this year, so the rankings are not entirely accurate. There are several tough teams ranked in the 20s... and not ranked. There are also some highly ranked teams that probably shouldn't be regarded so highly... i.e. Duke.

IMO the rankings are totally inaccurate right now. When you have lots of really close games that see saw back and forth, the rankings suffer. I am still hoping that Louisville doesn't even make it to the tournament. I agree that Syracuse and West Virginia are pretty good. They would likely be formidable foes. Hopefully we have answers to whatever is thrown at us! The bigger they are; the harder they fall or so it has been said! Hopefully the falling won't be done by the Cats. I'm really looking forward to win #23 tonight. I'm counting down until my visit at Mississippi State next week. Go Cats!

If UK comes to play, I have no doubt that we can beat any team in the country. I know we may lose another SEC game or two, but come tourney time... IT IS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG! We have the fastest backcourt and the biggest frontcourt. Many teams have one or the other... we have both... and not only do we have a talented front and back court on the same team... we have the BEST of both.

I'm definitely with you, Waitin'! Also, I keep thinking about something that was mentioned yesterday in one of the threads -- the possibility that we're holding something back. The more I think about that, the more I am beginning to believe it's true. I'm talking about players right now. However, I'd be willing to bet (if I were a betting person) that Coach Cal hasn't shown it all. He's way too smart. I didn't believe that our 8th championship was a possibility for this season in the beginning. I am now a believer. Too many weapons and not yet at peak level. I know we're scary to our opponents. Win it all or lose at some point along the way, I am enjoying this ride so much. I'm so proud of our team. Aren't they fun to watch? You just never know what to expect. At any moment, a spectacular play is liable to happen. In the midst of all that, it sure looks like they like each other, too. We have so much to be proud of. Go Cats!

I agree, richnlex. I believe Cuz can handle Aldrich without much trouble. I am truly not impressed with Aldrich. I think Mr. Wall will elevate his game and perhaps some others also. It'll take them all to win #8 but I believe. How about you? Go Cats!

Some of the NCAA games this year may be the stuff that Kentucky basketball lore is made of in years to come. Nice thought. We have way too may people that CAN kick it up if they just WILL. I am not worried. I am a believer! Go Cats!

I remember '96 final when we were loaded with Delk, McCarty and Walker, but we STILL needed Mercer to throw in 20 points..We need a guy like him to step up and help Cuz, Pat and John....maybe Dodson and Liggins combining for a big lift..even Harris can contribute off the bench, especially on "D". Also, Bledsoe is capable of playing a HUGE role, he just needs to play under control...If we click on all cylinders, well, just look at the Arkansas game..:)
