prayers needed

Dear KSN family,
I am writing to ask for your prayers in this time. My name is Jacob Kiper and my wife and I are having a crisis. As some of you know, my wife and I are pregnant with twin boys.
.
Early Saturday morning (5/5/12), my wife's water broke and she began leaking amneonic fluid. As of Saturday, my wife was 21 weeks pregnant. Our target delivery date is sometime in mid to late August. My wife has been in the hospital since Saturday and will likely be there until she delivers our baby boys... for better or worse.
.
Our problem is that our babies have zero shot at survival if my wife delivers before 24 weeks. As of today (5/8/12), we are 21.5 weeks along.
.
My wife is receiving treatment to fight potential infection and contractions. 60% of women with my wife's condition will deliver the babies within 7 days... we're currently on Day 4.
.
On Sunday night, my wife had several contractions... and then they just stopped. As of 5:10PM on Tuesday, we've had no known contractions since very late on Sunday.
.
We need God's help to prevent contractions and severe pre-term delivery. If we make it to 24 weeks, we've got about a 50% chance of survival... and right now, I'll gladly take 50%.

My wife and I would greatly appreciate all of your prayers.

I am seeking the help of God for you. You are certainly looking in the right direction for the help needed. No one on KSN know this and I will speak it for the first time. I am a semi retired Baptist minister and have been Preaching for 40 + years. I am going to contact some church members and pastors to strengthen the prayer line...... Dear Heavenly Father, Please God heal and allow the twins to be delivered. May they be healthy. Please Lord give the parents to be peace and help them through these trying moments. Dear God You are an awesome God and you are in control and we ask your will be done, Thank You in Jesus name.

As I'm writing this, it's 2:12PM central time on Wednesday. Yesterday and so far today have been great. Other than Sunday night, my wife has still not had any known contractions.
.
We did blood work this morning and the white count continued to drop, but by a whole lot this time! It dropped from 13.9 to 12.9. That is such a relief! In addition, Holly has no fever or tenderness in the uterine area.
.
Over the last couple of days, we've dreaded talking to the doctors. I fully understand that they have to paint a very clear picture of the challenges that we're facing, but it's draining and depressing. This morning, the doctor walked in... said "Great day!"... smiled... and then walked out! That was exactly what we needed. We didn't have to listen to a 15 minute talk on how bad things are.

God is truly amazing and I thank you for your prayers.

Don't stop praying, continue to seek God for the Miracle healing and delivery. Angels around you Jacob and Holly. Just remember everything in Jesus name.

The last few days have been a roller coaster.
.
We still have not had any contractions since late Sunday night. That is great!.
.
After dropping for a few days in a row, Holly's white blood count has slightly gone up each of the last two days. The doctor stated that it is "worrisome" that her WBC is going up while actively taking antibiotics.
.
The white count is still not at a point that would point to definite infection... being that she still has zero tenderness in the uterine area... and no fever. However, we really need that white count to go back down!.
.
If an infection develops, my wife will go into labor... and there will be nothing the doctors can do until 24 weeks. Tomorrow puts us at 22 weeks.
.
Pray hard!
