prayers needed

Dear KSN family,
I am writing to ask for your prayers in this time. My name is Jacob Kiper and my wife and I are having a crisis. As some of you know, my wife and I are pregnant with twin boys.
.
Early Saturday morning (5/5/12), my wife's water broke and she began leaking amneonic fluid. As of Saturday, my wife was 21 weeks pregnant. Our target delivery date is sometime in mid to late August. My wife has been in the hospital since Saturday and will likely be there until she delivers our baby boys... for better or worse.
.
Our problem is that our babies have zero shot at survival if my wife delivers before 24 weeks. As of today (5/8/12), we are 21.5 weeks along.
.
My wife is receiving treatment to fight potential infection and contractions. 60% of women with my wife's condition will deliver the babies within 7 days... we're currently on Day 4.
.
On Sunday night, my wife had several contractions... and then they just stopped. As of 5:10PM on Tuesday, we've had no known contractions since very late on Sunday.
.
We need God's help to prevent contractions and severe pre-term delivery. If we make it to 24 weeks, we've got about a 50% chance of survival... and right now, I'll gladly take 50%.

My wife and I would greatly appreciate all of your prayers.

Forgive me if I am presumptous by your name, but it may be that you have a covenant based on this scripture:
Exodus 23:25-26
You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.
None shall lose her young by miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.
This is something you can stand in faith upon.

We have 3 kids and our first came 5.5 weeks early (water breaking and the whole thing). It was pretty scary in week 34, so I can't even imagine how terrifying it is for you and your wife rignt now. I'm so sorry for what you're going through.
As soon as I quit typing, I'll be praying for your wife, the boys, and you.

I can truly identify with you and you wife. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby, because I am diabetic and have Endometriosis it's been hard on us to have a baby since we were married. I had Triplets last fall and carried those 3 months before I lost them. I blogged, several times about my thoughts and still do on my blog on another site. I understand what you and your wife our going through, My husband and are still going through that right now so if you need someone to talk too don’t hesitate to communicate with us.
I actually joined this site to help me get mind off the situation, and there are some good folks on here that was a nice and helped me get my mind off was going on. There is caring folks on here and it is good you identified your circumstances.
You will be in my husband and my prayers and make sure you both know that your love will overcome any thing that happens.

I am an anesthesiologist, and I deal with OB anesthesia issues all the time. In fact, my cousin delivered twin boys at 24 weeks, although under somewhat different circumstances. If you can make it to the 24 week mark, then you can certainly have breathe a little easier.
I know exactly what you are going through. Just keep the faith and don't lose hope. You have my most sincere well-wishes and any prayers I can muster.
