Courier-Journal's Kyle Tucker tweeted that James Quick's top five schools are:
1. t-1 Ohio State & Louisville, 3. Oregon, 4. Kentucky and 5. Missouri.
Although there doesn't seem to be much talk or UK having much of a shot at Louisville Trinity's James Quick, at least, he hasn't ruled them out. If the Spring game is any indication, UK will likely really open up the offense this year with a no-huddle, shotgun offense. Could make things interesting if UK's offense really improves, especially with young QBs like Maxwell Smith and Patrick Towles. One thing UK has going for them is a proven record of producing NFL WRs. Two of the best young receivers in the NFL right now are Steve Johnson and Randall Cobb. Plus, Keenan Burton played a couple of seasons in the NFL and had a great college career. Jacob Tamme is having a pretty good time playing TE in the NFL too. Maybe those guys can help with UK recruiting WRs.
