CALIPARI UPDATE!!!-My sources have once again came through for me,spending countless hours camped out in Coach C's front yard in hopes of figuring out his ultimate coaching destination. Although they are ruthless, eager and have possibly illegal and borderline innapropriate investigative techniques, they are effective nonetheless. After countless hours of rummaging through the coachs exterior garbage can they have provided me with important and relevant facts which we can use to plug into a… Continue

Hello everyone...as I was telling our benefactor Mr. Gorham this morning...I had this great idea for a blog I was going to do today...I was going to wrap up this past season and look towards next year.
Now this whole John Calipari to Kentucky train seems to pick up momentum with each passing second. One site says it will be a 6 year deal worth 40 million dollars, another says 4.5 million over six years with incentives up to 6 million per.
With that comes the news three or… Continue

Better get it right this time Mitch, you only get one mulligan with Big Blue Nation.
You say you know Kentucky and you understand how important basketball is to the Commonwealth and you understand what the fanbase wants in it's coach.
Sorry Mitch, I respectfully and humbly disagree.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Legendary Arkansas Coach Frank Broyles once said, “Luck follows
speed.” If that’s so, the Kentucky football team might be in for more “luck” in
the 2009 season.
Results from the team’s winter strength and conditioning program have been
tabulated by Marc Hill, UK Director of Strength and Conditioning. The numbers
show significant improvement in overall team speed and quickness, along with
some gains in… Continue

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2009 University of Kentucky football schedule has been completed as the Wildcats will take on Miami University on Sept. 5 in Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium.
The game will be a unique season opener, as the teams will play at a neutral site, the home of the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals. The game will be convenient for the fan base of both teams, as Paul Brown Stadium is 82 miles from the UK campus and just 39… Continue

Old habits came back to haunt Kentucky as Notre Dame held off a late rally by the Cats to win 77-67. Jodie Meeks scored 21 points for Kentucky, but Luke Harangody put in 30 for the Irish.
Patrick Patterson's Offense
- The gameplan for the Cats was obvious early on. They wanted to pound the ball down low to Patterson and let him go to work on Luke Harangody. That worked well for most of the game as Patterson scored 18 points on 6-12 shooting.… Continue

Hello everyone...so here is my deal...if you want Billy G gone...then I would skip to the comments section where you can call me an idiot or whatever you want...
Look I realize the last two years haven't been that good...but let's face it...Billy Gillispie didn't walk into the 1996 Kentucky Basketball team when he took the job here.
If your teams are supposed to be built around your Senior class...well this one goes down as probably the worst in UK history. Jared Carter,… Continue

Patrick Patterson sat out most of the first half and Jodie Meeks struggled to put points on the board, but Kentucky rallied to beat Creighton 65-63 when Meeks converted a three-point play with 10.6 seconds left.
- This was not a typical game for the best scorer in the SEC. He was covered all night, and didn't get very many open looks. Whether or not very many plays were actually run specifically for Meeks can be debated, but that's… Continue
