DeMarcus Cousins impressive in Kings debut

DeMarcus Cousins wasted little time impressing his new fans in Sacramento. DeMarcus admitted to being uneasy in his debut, "I was very nervous in the beginning, I really didn't know what to expect, I didn't know how I would manage through the game, but it came pretty easy." Cousins finished with a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. DeMarcus and the Kings return to action Tuesday at 8:30 eastern against Los Angeles.

USA u17 cruises over Australia 105-70, Teague with 10 points and 8 assists

The USA u17 team advance to the quarterfinals of the FIBA World Championships with a 105-70 win over Australia. Michael Gilchrist had a quiet afternoon finishing with 5 points and 3 rebounds. Fellow UK commitment, Marquis Teague, finished with 10 points and 8 rebounds.



Other UK targets of note, Tony Wroten scored 11 points and dished out 7 assists. Johnny O'Bryant finished with just 2 points and 4 rebounds.

USA u17 defeat Serbia 112-75, Gilchrist with 14 and 7

The USA u17 team needs just three more wins to be named World Champions after finishing pool play undefeated with a 112-75 win over Serbia on Wednesday. UK commitment, Michael Gilchrist, continued his solid play finishing with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Marquis Teague had a quiet game scoring 5 points to go along with 2 assists.

USA dominates Egypt 132-64, Michael Gilchrist with 18 points

The USA u17 team rolled over Egypt this afternoon in the FIBA World Championships 132-64. UK commitment, Michael Gilchrist, had 18 points thanks to hitting on 7 of 8 shots from the field, he also finished with 7 rebounds. Marquis Teague finished with 12 points and 8 assists.
