The annual butt-whipping is over, as a matter of fact it really wasn't as bad as in past years.
The sun did come up Sunday morning and UK football still can have a fourth consecutive celebration somewhere for the holidays this winter.
All I ask is please don't blame it on Brooks and the coaches and don't blame it… Continue

The BBN wants so much to be successful in the sport you coach and I will be the first one to admit that we were wrong about you before. You were the man for the job when many thought you were not. You have always been honest with us while you have been here. You told us our talent wasn't very good and that you needed time. Many did not want to give you that time but you got it and you were right we did need the players you brought in.
You have brought more joy to UK fans than I can ever… Continue

Enjoy this night. Your hit will be played and replayed and then replayed again. While I hate to see someone injured. I love to see a good hit and you laid a nice clean lick on Tim Tebow.
- You sir can properly coach a game. As a fan of well coached college football I am jealous. Your use of timeouts, forcing UK to punt at the end of the 1st half was a thing of beauty. You will probably hear it from the Gator… Continue

I just got out of the Florida locker room. It was a very somber locker room. The number one ranked Gators had just beaten Kentucky convincingly 41-7, but it feeled as though Florida had lost the game. The reason was obvious - Tim Tebow's injury.
Regardless of how you feel about Tim Tebow, I think everyone agrees that you never want to see a player get hurt. The hit from Taylor Windham was a clean hit. It wasn't malicious, but a head injury is always reason for… Continue

Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of The Krystal Ball, last week was a bit of a rough one. In fact our former basketball coach might have said, "The Ole KB got its butt whipped last week. He is going to have to practice hard and try to do better this week."
The Ole' Ball went 6-3 last week, losing on Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Auburn. The overall record stands at 22-5 for the season. Another big week in the SEC, so let's take a look.
Florida at Kentucky… Continue

Memo to Rich Brooks:
Please bury those retirement thoughts underneath the fishing rods in the garage, we need your magic wand another couple years.
The jury is still out on this particular Kentucky football team but more importantly it rests at 2-0 this week, right where it had to be after the first two games going into… Continue

- It's what the good teams do. Honestly, Louisville played a great game, with a great game plan, and if you can beat a team that is playing it's best at your worst, well than you have a talented football team. UK finding a way to win, when old Kentucky would have withered after the disasterous 3rd and took home an L is somewhat impressive. Even more that these guys came back twice in the 4th quarter for a game they had to win if they hope… Continue
