Hello everyone and welcome back to the Weekend in Review checking out another exciting weekend in College Football. As the title suggests...the Mighty Commodores from Nashville did me in again by spotting Auburn 13 points before coming back to win 14-13. That leaves them one win away from being bowl eligible.
Now onto the rest of the weekend....
What can you say about the effort of Kentucky on Saturday???? Go into Alabama, give up 14 quick points and then rally and have a…

Greetings from I-65 north bound. Let's get to it...
Thumbs Up:
UK Defense- Could someone please ask Mark May in which game we will give up 22 points by halftime? They proved they are legit and can matchup against anybody. They made plays, shutdown the passing, and kept the Bama offense from scoring, all the while playing way too much in the hot Alabama sun as the offense kept going 3 and out. I thought for sure Bama would get us in the 4th as the D…

Happy Gilmore is the ultimate Adam Sandler film. Every comedic film star has that one film in their filmography that defines the persona that they play throughout the rest of their films. Bill Murray had it in
Stripes, Eddie Murphy had it in
48 Hrs. with the scene in the redneck bar. Will Ferrell had it with
Old School. And Adam Sandler had it with this film. The character he establishes is that of a man…

We have just received the 1998 Championship DVDs! Just in time for the season to start or for that holiday gift.
Trailing at half-time, Kentucky’s Wildcats were hard pressed to maintain their new nickname, “The Comeback Cats.” No team had won the final with a trailing margin of more than 8 points throughout the history of the tournament, and Kentucky was behind by 10. To add to the challenge, Utah’s score had never trailed during the second half in any of their 1998 season…

Ok enough of that onto the picks for this weekend....
Kentucky at Alabama---- Here we are...we all know what happened last year when the Cats took on the Top Rated LSU team. This week they have to play Number 2 Alabama on the road. I believe that…

KSN - Kentucky football fans are funny. Give them a high scoring offense and many of them believe Kentucky has “a puncher’s chance” against anybody.
Regrettably, as Coach Rich Brooks noted earlier this season, many Kentucky fans don’t share the same appreciation for a great defense. If Kentucky’s offense was near as good as this year’s Kentucky defense, it is doubtful that you would hear the cynical forecasts that are being heard throughout the Commonwealth concerning this…
