The Krystal Ball: The "Blackout" Edition

Hello everyone and welcome back to another TKB. For a second straight week I went 5-0, making the season record 53-9. Of course this probably means I will go 0-fer this week.

Some big games this week so let's get to it.

Mississippi State at Kentucky- (7:00 Fox Sports South)- The Cats righted the ship somewhat with the win over Jacksonville State last week and a sweep over the state of Mississippi could put Joker's squad ever so close to a sixth…

The Krystal Ball: The Most Important Game of Joker's Tenure Edition

Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of TKB. Last week was a great one for me going 5-0 making the record 48-9 for the year.

Another Saturday, another big weekend in the SEC so let's get to it.

Jacksonville State at Kentucky- (NOON ESPNU)- After a bye week, Joker's Cats start the second half of the season with a game against the Number 8 ranked Gamecocks in FCS.

As the title says, this may be Joker's biggest game. With the fanbase…

The Krystal Ball: The We Won't Lose This Week Edition

Hello everyone and welcome back to another TKB. Last week was a good one going 5-1, making the season record 43-9 for the year. As the title suggests it is a bye week for Kentucky which at this point is probably the best thing they could have.

Even without the Cats playing, it is still another big weekend in the SEC.

South Carolina at Mississippi State- (12:20- SEC Network/WKYT)- It has been another interesting week down in Columbia. Stephen Garcia was…

Back in Black...

Just yesterday I officially entered a period of mourning for football at the University of Kentucky. I believe it my duty to wear a black armband for thirty days at the end of which I shall be forever free of any further need to acknowledge the existence of the program. This duty was brought about by the untimely euthenasia performed on our Cats yesterday by "The Ole Ball Coach" and his brood of steroidal 'Cocks.

For the past several years I have been beating a muted…

The Krystal Ball: The Ol' Ball Coach With a New Quarterback Edition

Hello everyone and welcome back to another TKB. Last week was a tough one going 4-3 making my record 38-8 on the year.

Another big Saturday in the SEC so let's get right to it.

Kentucky at South Carolina- (12:20 SEC Network/WKYT)- Last season the Wildcats finally broke the Spurrier jink winning for the first time in 17 tries. You know he is going to be out for revenge.

It was announced this week after 12 years and about 500 chances, Stephen…
