Back on January 27 UK went down to Oxford, Mississippi, and lost to an under-manned and injury depleted Ole Miss team 85-80. It was the game that started the downfall. Beginning with Jeannine Edwards asking Billy Gillispie a "bad question" at half time, UK lost the game en route to losing 8 of their final 11 games. This was the game that started the snowball. This was UK's chance to make things right.
