The Wildcats picked up a sizeable commitment on Wednesday as, Lexington Christian star, Zach West pledged his commitment to Kentucky. West, who checks in at 6'5 and 297 pounds, is currently ranked #14 in the ESPN rankings and #16 by Scout.com at offensive guard. After a very productive first week for several former Cats, Week 2 saw several players struggle to make an impact.
The biggest impact came from Jacob Tamme who saw the end zone for the second straight week. Jacob was on the receiving end of a 21 yard strike from Peyton Manning in the first quarter of the Colts game against Buffalo. Update: August 10 - Evan Daniels is reporting that Chane will make an unofficial visit to UK on Wednesday.
Chane Behanan of Bowling Green is currently the top rated player in the state of Kentucky for 2011. Behanan holds nine scholarship offers including Louisville, Cincinnati, and West Virginia.
