I agree Save we don't always agree, sometimes I jump to the gun and don't always read all the way thru, and for that I truely apologize. I think we can both agree though we expect and demand the absolute best when it comes to UK Athelitics. Cal may have a grand scheme, I don't know, am just a two bit UK fan that has a strong attraction to loyality. I do not belittle 18-19 year olds for taking the millions and running. I am not saying this wasn't an awesome year. I attended more UK games this year, 6 to be exact, than I ever have, because i knew it was going to be special. I don't know who will leave and who will stay and honestly, can only deal with what we know at the present. If the exodus of players will be true, then we are right back in the same shape next year as this year, so his plan didn't work quite the way he anticipated. I respect your writings and insight btw, and as you say, don't always agree, and thats why I like reading what you post, makes me think.... Still enjoyed the season, still think we will always be one and done players, there is always someone better to play. Not knocking 35-3, awesome, but I would trade for a National Championship every time.

Don't disagree with what you say, but a National Championship will never be won with one and done players.

I wouldn't say that players go to school for the school. The school and the prestige definitely matter, but when it boils down to it, players go to play for schools because of the coaches. It sucks when players leave early, but hell with that opportunity who could blame them. Also, I will take one and done's all the time because if they are leaving and getting drafted in the lottery they have to be pretty talented and that only helps UK in the season they are there. Also, when they are in the NBA, high school ball players associate them with the schools they went to and when they see how many players are from Kentucky and how quickly they get to that level it will click with the recruits that "hey, maybe there is something at UK and with the coaches that'll help me reach my goals as quickly as possible." So, I say keep reloading me with that talent.

I just want Calipari or any future UK coach to put the best team possible on the court for the upcoming season and worry about everything else later.

If Cal didn't go after one and done players we wouldn't have been very good this year and we wouldn't be the "cool" school like we are again.

I just want to be as good as we can be in current season.
