No UConn, WOW! Things could get interesting now that UConn isn't on the list.

I thought it was just down to UK and UConn, and anyone else on his list was just on his list to have a list.

Maybe Selby is trying to pressure UK into taking him.

Narrows his list? I thought it was down to UK and Conn with Indiana getting involved late.

Just the fact that you have to throw Bledsoe, Hood, Poole, Miller and who knows what other guards/small forwards into the mix. I guess if some these guys don't care to ride the bench for a few years but most of these guys expect to be in the league by then...

Something must be going down in Connecticut to lose out on Harris and Selby before they even make final cuts. Both were considered to be very interested in Connecticut, might be the fact that Calhoun could go at anytime, but you would think Harris and Selby would have already known that. It's probably nothing but just seems fishy to me.

Cal could tell him that but still recruit Knight and then if we got Knight, Selby would have to decide if he wanted to stay with UK or not.

I agree I don't see UK getting both but getting Selby first wouldn't stop us from recruiting Knight and Knight being interested in UK. The only thing that might change would be Selby's commitment to UK might not be stick if we got Knight down the road.

Well either way I don't see the two coexisting, my guess for Selby to commit to UK he would have to get a promise from Cal that he would get to be the man

Now I have no doubt that Selby would have no interest in UK if Knight committed to UK first.

Two different situations.

I could have seen Bledsoe choosing another school if we already had Wall

but why would Knight not be interested in UK if we had Selby?

That is like saying Wall wouldn't be interested in UK after we got Bledsoe. Wall isn't scared of Bledsoe

Knight isn't scared of Selby. Knight would start over Selby

I have a hard time seeing Knight still interested in UK if we take Selby...but I thought the same thing about Bledsoe if we were to get Wall...

Knight and Selby are not the same situation as Lamb and Poole.

If Selby wants to commit you take him and still recruit Knight as a starter. Knight isn't worried about Selby or anyone else in the 2010 class.

UK is still probably recruiting Lamb selling him that they are going to play Poole at a different wing spot than Lamb.

but Selby and Knight are totally different from Lamb/Poole.

You can take Selby and still recruit Knight as the starter. Selby might not like it but hey, that's recruiting.
