Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of TKB. Last week was a bit of a rough one, going 2-4, that puts my record at 30-10 which drops me down to a 4 or 5 seed in the NCAA.
Another big week in the SEC so let's get right to it.
Ole Miss at Kentucky- (4:00 SEC Network/WKYT)- The Cats have had a week off since their big win over Vanderbilt down at Memorial. In the last seven days Coach Cal and the Cats had a practice televised on national tv and now get ready for the stretch drive by hosting the Rebels.
A win here and a losses by Florida and Vandy this weekend would clinch no worse than a tie for the SEC Regular Season Title with four games to play.
Andy Kennedy's team got blown out last night by Vandy by 26 points and frankly other than Murphy Holloway, I am not sure if they have anyone who can match up with Anthony Davis and company.
Davis, Terrence Jones and the Cats should have this one pretty easy before heading to Starkville on Tuesday.
Krystal Ball Says- Kentucky 85-64
LSU at South Carolina- (1:30 SEC Network)- Both teams come into this one off nice wins. The Gamecocks beat Georgia on Wednesday while the Tigers upset Mississippi State on Tuesday night.
This one is a toss up but I am going to go with the home team in this one.
Krystal Ball Says- South Carolina 64-60
Tennessee at Alabama- (1:30 SEC Network)- Other than Kentucky, the Volunteers are probably the hottest team in the SEC winning four in a row.
It has been quite the opposite with the Tide who have lost two in a row and have been dealing with all sorts of off the court problems.
I am going to pick an upset in this one and go with Tennessee.
Krystal Ball Says- Tennessee 70-67
Florida at Arkansas- (6:00 ESPN2)- The Gators righted their ship by winning at Alabama on Tuesday and now have to travel to Fayetteville.
The Razorbacks have lost only once at home all season and I think they win this one in what should be a great game.
Krystal Ball Says- Arkansas 77-72
Mississippi State at Auburn- (8:00 Fox Sports)- The Bulldogs are coming off an upset loss at LSU on Tuesday.
The Tigers haven't played since a loss to Ole Miss last Saturday and are very tough at home.
If MSU is looking ahead to Tuesday night they could be staring at their third loss in a row, but I think they will win.
Krystal Ball Says- Mississippi State 71-65
Vanderbilt at Georgia- (Sunday 1:00 Fox Sports)- Vandy gets an extra day after playing on Thursday so Kevin Stallings can't whine about that..right??
The Commodores looked great in beating Ole Miss 102-76 last night and now head to Athens to play the Bulldogs who lost to South Carolina on Wednesday.
I think Vandy takes this one with more hot shooting.
Krystal Ball Says- Vanderbilt 78-68
That is it for this week, thanks for reading and for supporting KSN.
