Hello everyone and welcome back to another TKB. I managed to get all three of the bowl games right last week, even though I was way off on the margins.

As the title suggests, it is the first weekend in the SEC and the Cats start at a place they have had a lot of trouble with in recent years.

Kentucky at Vanderbilt- (9:00 ESPN)- The Cats start in Nashville in the crackerjack gym with noted Kentucky hater Bobby Knight doing the commentary.

This will be the first SEC road game for UK and luckily for them Vandy is horrible this year. The Commodores will probably come out hot but I think eventually the Cats will take over.

Krystal Ball Says- Kentucky 71-62

Texas A&M at Kentucky- (4:00 SEC Network)- After hopefully getting a road win, the Cats open the home schedule against the Aggies. Billy Kennedy's club won its first ever SEC game by beating Arkansas by 18.

This could be a close game on Saturday but I think the Cats will pull away in the second half.

Krystal Ball Says- Kentucky 75-65

Tennessee at Alabama- (1:00 ESPN2)- The Vols looked bad losing to Ole Miss at home Wednesday night while the Tide lost big at Missouri on Tuesday. I will go with the Tide at home.

Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 65-60

Auburn at South Carolina- (1:30 SEC Network)- The Tigers got a nice win over LSU while the Gamecocks dropped a tough one to Mississippi State. I have no idea so lets go with the home team.

Krystal Ball Says- South Carolina 68-62

Mississippi State at Georgia- (1:30 SEC Network)- Georgia got blown out in their opener against Florida while MSU won a squeaker against Carolina. I will go with UGA in this one.

Krystal Ball Says- Georgia 69-60

Florida at LSU- (4:00 ESPNU)- The Gators looked awesome in blowing out Georgia while LSU lost to Auburn. I will go with the Gators on the road. 

Krystal Ball Says- Florida 71-59

Vanderbilt at Arkansas- (6:00 Fox Sports South)- Hopefully the Commodores will be coming into this one off a loss, while the Razorbacks got blown out in College Station.

I think Arkansas is too good for Vandy especially at home.

Krystal Ball Says- Arkansas 74-58

MIssouri at Ole MIss- (8:00 Fox Sports South)- This is by far the best game in the SEC this weekend. The Tigers looked great blowing out Alabama while the Rebels blew out Tennessee in Knoxville.

I really want to pick Ole Miss in this one, but I am not sure about them and I think the Tigers will win a close one.

Krystal Ball Says- Missouri 82-77

Two huge games nationally this weekend featues Duke (without Ryan Kelly) at North Carolina State Saturday at Noon on ESPN.

The other will feature Minnesota at Indiana. That one is at Noon on the Big Ten Network.

Would love to see the Pack and the Gophers win.
