TKB: The Cats Hit the Road Edition

  • Rating: No Rating

Hello everyone and welcome to another TKB. I am a little short for time this week so this will be a more abbreviated version. Last week wasn't good at all, so let's just move on.

Kentucky at Auburn- (9:00 ESPNU)- The Cats got the win they needed on Tuesday, now they play 4 of the next 5 on the road. Auburn is 2-1 so far in the conference and could easily be 3-0.

This will be the Tigers' only sell-out of the year and hopefully the Cats can spoil it.

Krystal Ball Says- Kentucky 68-63

Arkansas at Ole Miss- (1:30 SEC Network)- The Rebels are off to a great start in the SEC and I see no reason why they would lose here.

Krystal Ball Says- Ole Miss- 76-64

Vanderbilt at South Carolina- (1:30 SEC Network)- Both teams are horrible and I picked USC to win at home last week so why not two weeks in a row.

Krystal Ball Says- South Carolina 67-61

MIssouri at Florida- (2:00 ESPN)- The Gators play at Texas A&M tonight then turn around to face the Tigers. Even without Casey Prather I think the Gators win.

Krystal Ball Says- Florida 82-75

Mississippi State at Tennessee- (4:00 SEC Network)- It is hard for me to believe that the Vols are 0-3 in the conference. After Saturday they won't be.

Krystal Ball Says- Tennessee 68-59

Texas A&M at Alabama- (6:00 Fox Sports)- It will be interesting to see if history holds true when someone upsets Kentucky they lay an egg the next game. The Tide are tough at home and unless they are looking to UK on Tuesday I think they win.

Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 72-67

LSU at Georgia- (8:00 Comcast Sports/ESPN3)- Both teams are 0-3, I think LSU is better, let's go with them.

Krystal Ball Says- LSU 66-62

Nationally a huge game tonight with Minnesota hosting Michigan. On Saturday the big games feature Louisville hosting Syracuse and Gonzaga playing at Butler.

That is it for this week, thanks for reading and for supporting KSN. See you in 7.

Well 5-2 not too bad for the week. Glad to hear from you again Faith Ann. Have you recovered from the Packers...I am still mad but I didn't think they would win.

I just can't put a handle on this Cat team KB....    They hang with the rated teams but they really give lack luster preformances against lesser teams.  I really like when Harrow leads the team, but he seems to hide during the Crunch time at the end of the game.   Either that  or Goodwin is trying to take over the game turning the ball over play after play.  I mean he drives outof control in the middle of 4 guys trying to make some crazy shots.

Poythress and Wiltjer it seems are useless, yea than score but could not defend me if I had the ball.   The rest just seems to fill in as space players. The only players to me that is is putting it all on the line is Noel and Cauely -Stien.  One has  talent the other is adapting to Basketball.  I guess we al are just goning to have to accept  we suck this year unless the Players wake up.

And just like clock work Texas A&M gets hammered by Florida and Elston Turner goes

1-10 and scores 4 points.
