TKB: The Keeping the Momentum Edition

  • Rating: No Rating
Hello everyone and welcome to another Krystal Ball. Last week was a pretty good one going 5-2, not too shabby. I am doing this a little later in order to wait on the games from Thursday night.

It is another big weekend in the SEC so let's get to it.

Auburn at Kentucky- (4:00 SEC Network)- The Cats are coming off a good win over a bad South Carolina team on Tuesday night while the Tigers held Alabama to 37 points in just a horrible game on Wednesday.
The Cats beat the Tigers easily four weeks ago and I think they have a pretty easy time in this one before heading out on the road for a big week next week.

Krystal Ball Says- Kentucky 79-61

Ole Miss at Missouri- (1:00 CBS)- The first time these two teams played, the Rebels blew out the Tigers.  Frank Haith's team can seem to win on the road, losing at Texas A&M last night. I think this time around it should be a high scoring game but I think Missou wins.

Krystal Ball Says- Missouri 88-78

Arkansas at Vanderbilt- (1:30 SEC Network)- The Razorbacks got a huge win over Florida on Tuesday night. They are undefeated at home in the SEC and winless on the road.
Vandy is just bad this year but are usually great at home. Something has to give and I am going to go with the Razorbacks.

Krystal Ball Says- Arkansas 70-64

Mississippi State at Florida- (5:00 Fox Sports)- The Gators looked really bad on Tuesday night in losing to Arkansas in a game that was much worse than the final score. The team had a big blow when it was announced that Will Yegette, their best interior defender and rebounder will be out the rest of the regular season due to knee surgery.
Even so, they return home to play the Bulldogs who are just horrible.

Krystal Ball Says- Florida 85-61

Texas A&M at Georgia- (5:00 ESPNU)- The Bulldogs are on a roll right now winning four in a row and winning at Tennessee on Wednesday night.
The Aggies upset Missouri at home last night but can't seem to play well on the road and I think UGA takes this one.

Krystal Ball Says- Georgia 71-62

LSU at Alabama- (8:00 ESPN2)- The Tigers come into this one winning two straight while the Tide are coming off that horrible game against Auburn on Wednesday. Bama is tough to beat at home and I think they win here.

Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 65-62

Tennessee at South Carolina- (1:00 Sunday Fox Sports)- The Vols have dropped two in a row including a home game to Georgia. The Gamecocks are just bad and it seems no matter what I pick USC to do the opposite happens.

Krystal Ball Says- Tennessee 68-60

That is it for this week, thanks for reading and see you in 7.

Hey Not too bad for the week 6-1 with the only miss being Arkansas. Apparently they can't beat anyone away from Fayetteville.

Big week for the Cats, don't see them beating Florida but they need to get a win at Rocky Top.

Good post KB  thank you.  I will leave the picking to you, to many teams and games for me to keep up with  lolz.  The Cats look better every game I just hope to see a good one today agaist Auburn.

The freshmen are looking more mature each game and blending together better.  I like the fact Polson can come in the game and not hurt us.  He does not add offense but he can run the team well enough to give the other guards a rest.

I am loving all the football good news!

Faith
