Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of The Krystal Ball. Unlike the UK Football team the ol' Ball had a pretty good week going 10-2, making the season record 31-5.
Another big weekend in the SEC so let's get to it.
Kentucky at Florida- (12:21- SEC Network)- Not much left to say about last week's game against Western that hasn't already been said so let's look ahead.
1986 is the last time UK beat Florida and while folks have been able to score on the Gators this year they do sit at 3-0. Add to it the Twitter war between Jared Lorenzen and UF Offensive Coordinator Brent Pease, this one could get ugly. If the Cats hold them to under 50 it would be an accomplishment.
Krystal Ball Says- Florida 51-10
Ole Miss at Tulane- (NOON- Fox Sports South)- The Rebels got an old-fashioned whipping last week giving up 66 points to Texas. Luckily for them, Tulane is horrible. Hugh Freeze's team should get the road win here.
Krystal Ball Says- Ole Miss 24-14
Missouri at South Carolina- (3:30 CBS)- This will be the first ever "Battle of Columbia" in the SEC and both teams are coming in banged up at Quarterback. The Gamecocks hope to have Connor Shaw back while the Tigers' James Franklin sat out last week's win against Arizona State.
In the end I think the home field will help Spurrier and company take this one.
Krystal Ball Says- South Carolina 31-20
Florida Atlantic at Alabama- (4:00 ESPN3)- Quite simply the Tide are rolling. Last week's dismantling of Arkansas was as impressive a game as I have seen in a while.
This week they get the Owls who are one of the worst teams in football. The spread on this one is 50 and that sounds about right.
Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 56-3
Rutgers at Arkansas- (7:00 ESPNU)- Probably the only place with a more upset fan base that Lexington is down in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks without Tyler Wilson looked horrible last week and in this one they host a Scarlet Knight team that won at South Florida last week.
The Hogs are too good to keep losing right?? I think they take this one in a close one.
Krystal Ball Says- Arkansas 27-23
LSU at Auburn- (7:00 ESPN)- The home team has won 11 of the last 12 in this series which gives hope to Gene Chizik's club. Even so I think the Bayou Tigers take this one pretty easily.
Krystal Ball Says- LSU 31-13
South Alabama at Mississippi State- (7:00 ESPN3)- The Bulldogs are 3-0 but almost lost to Troy at home last week.
I don't know that much about South Alabama but MSU should win at home pretty easily in this one.
Krystal Ball Says- Mississippi State 38-10
South Carolina State at Texas A&M- (7:00 Fox Sports South)- QB Johnny Manziel has been a pleasant surprise for the Aggies so far with no interceptions in 66 pass attempts. He should get a lot of attempts in this one as A&M should roll here.
Krystal Ball Says- Texas A&M- 45-13
Akron at Tennessee- (7:00 Comcast Sports)- The Vols will be trying to bounce back from a loss against Florida in which some thought UT quit. A big win here against the Zips would help regain a little momentum before they go to Georgia next week.
Krystal Ball Says- Tennessee 48-17
Vanderbilt at Georgia- (7:45 ESPN2)- There should be plenty of emotion in this one. If you remember after the 'Dawgs 33-28 win in Nashville last year, 'Dores Coach James Franklin and Bulldog Offensive Coordinator Todd Grantham had to be separated by police after a heated exchange after the game.
I think the Bulldogs take this one in what could be an entertaining game.
Krystal Ball Says- Georgia 34-18
That is it for this week, thanks for reading and for supporting KSN. See you in 7.

UT struggled badly with Akron finally pulling away in the 4th..and wow did Auburn give LSU a scare.
