Hello everyone and welcome back to another Krystal Ball. Last week was another pretty good one for me going 7-1 losing only the UK-UF game. That makes the total 43-6 for the year. Yeah I was totally drinking the Blue Kool-Aid on that one. My cohort Faith Ann also went 7-1 missing the LSU-UGA game.
Another week more big games in the SEC so let's get to it.
Kentucky at South Carolina- (7:30 Fox Sports South)- The Wildcats first true home game sends them down to Columbia to face a Gamecock team who barely got by Central Florida last week.
For a while it looked like UK was going to face another second string QB with Connor Shaw going down last week, but now it looks like he will play.
Coach Stoops has been less than thrilled with practice this week, and I can't see anyway this one isn't a blow out.
Krystal Ball Says- South Carolina 42-17
Georgia State at Alabama- (12:21 SEC Network)- This one will get ugly and quick. The Panthers are 0-4 and now head to Tuscaloosa for what may be not much more than a paid scrimmage.
The key for the Tide of course is to not have anyone get hurt.
Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 56-7
Georgia at Tennessee- (3:30 CBS)- The Bulldogs are showing themselves to be the head of the class in the SEC East this year.
The Vols held on to beat South Alabama last week and I think the Bulldogs win pretty easily here.
Krystal Ball Says- Georgia 34-17
Ole Miss at Auburn- (7:00 ESPNU)- The Rebels got shut out at Alabama last week but still have been pretty impressive so far this year.
The Tigers are much improved over last season and this one will probably go down to the wire. I am going with the visitors in this one.
Krystal Ball Says- Ole Miss 28-24
Arkansas at Florida- (7:00 ESPN2)- Tyler Murphy did pretty well in his first start for the Gators. Now UF comes back home to play a Razorback club who can score lots of points but so far this season hasn't stopped anyone.
Krystal Ball Says- Florida 35-21
LSU at Mississippi State-(7:00 ESPN)- The Tigers nearly went into Athens last week and pulled off the victory against Georgia. The Bulldogs look to get QB Tyler Russell back this week but I think Les MIles' club takes this one.
Krystal Ball Says- LSU 31-17
Missouri at Vanderbilt- (7:30 Comcast Sports)- The Tigers are off to a 4-0 start but have played no real competition. The Commodores are coming off a big 52-24 win over UAB last week.
This will be the first time since 1959 the Missouri has played in Nashville and I think the home team takes this one in what could be a great game.
Krystal Ball Says- Vanderbilt 34-28
Texas A&M has the week off. That's it for this week, feel free to post your picks below. Thanks for reading.
