TKB: The Two For The Big Dance Edition

  • Rating: No Rating

Hello everyone and welcome back to another Krystal Ball. Last week was another good one going 5-2, losing the UT-UGA game and Ole Miss-MSU.

Hard as it is to believe this is the last week of the regular season and there are two big games for the Wildcats coming. Can they win and punch their NCAA ticket, let's take a look.

Kentucky at Georgia- (7:00 ESPN)- The Cats pay a visit down to Athens with a chance to cement an NCAA Bid with a win.

Cal's Cats have been wildly unpredictable on the road with a couple of good wins and some really bad losses and the question is which team will show up tonight.

The key to the game is stopping Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, if he scores more than 17 points the Bulldogs are 7-3 in SEC play.

The Cats are due for a good road win and quite frankly they are the better team and with Bobby Knight maybe broadcasting his last game for ESPN Kentucky pulls it out.

Krystal Ball Says- Kentucky 67-61

Florida at Kentucky- (NOON Saturday CBS)- Hopefully after a win agains the Dawgs, the Cats will celebrate Senior Day for Twany Beckham and Julius Mays by hosting the SEC Champion Gators.

Billy D's club is starting to get healthy but have definitely been beatable on the road. With what should be a frenzied crowd I think the Cats pull this one out and clinch the 2 seed in the SEC Tourney.

Krystal Ball Says- Kentucky 76-72

Ole Miss at LSU- (1:30 SEC Network)- The Rebels really need this one to keep their slim NCAA hopes alive. The problem is the Tigers are playing well right now especially at home. I think they take this one.

Krystal Ball Says- LSU 75-69

South Carolina at Vanderbilt- (1:30 SEC Network)- Except for last night the Commodores have been playing well of late. The Gamecocks are just waiting for the season to end.

Krystal Ball Says- Vanderbilt 70-64

Texas A&M at Arkansas- (2:00 ESPNU)- The Razorbacks are playing at home, that should be all you need to know about this one.

Krystal Ball Says- Arkansas 80-66

Missouri at Tennessee- (4:00 ESPN)- This is the other marquee game of the day. A win here keeps UT's NCAA hopes alive while the Tigers need a win to possibly get the #2 seed in the SEC Tournament.

This should be a close one but I am going with the Vols.

Krystal Ball Says- Tennessee 79-73

Georgia at Alabama- (4:00 SEC Network)- The Crimson Tide are also in the mix for the 2 Seed in the SEC Tourney. They are playing at home and should win this one.

Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 65-57

Auburn at Mississippi State- (6:00 Fox Sports South)- Well someone has to win this game so I will the Bulldogs.

Krystal Ball Says- Mississippi State 63-58

That is it for this week thanks for reading. See you next week with a look at the SEC Tournament.

6-2 for the final week, not too shabby. Missed the UK-UGA game and the LSU-Ole Miss one.

Well 0-1 so far for the week. I really thought UK was going to win last night. Yep I was wrong.
