TKB: The Two Injuries From Playing a WR at QB Again Edition

  • Rating: No Rating

Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of The Krystal Ball. Last week was pretty good going 4-2 that makes the season record 50-8. It is another big weekend in the SEC so let's get right to it.

Kentucky at Arkansas- (7:00 Fox Sports South)- As the title suggests it was a bad week at the QB position for the Cats. Both Max Smith and true Freshmen Patrick Towles are out with injuries.

That leaves Jalen Whitlow and Morgan Newton who is banged up himself.

The Razorbacks might have saved their season with last week's win at Auburn and are looking to make it two SEC wins in a row. The Hogs are favored by 16 and will probaly win by more than that.

Krystal Ball Says- Arkansas 38-17

Auburn at Ole Miss- (12:21 SEC Network)- The Rebels dropped a heartbreaker last week to Texas A&M while the Tigers looked horrible in losing to Arkansas. Has it really only been two years since AU won it all. Unfortunately for Gene Chizik, Cam Newton isn't walking through that door.

Krystal Ball Says- Ole Miss 24-14

Alabama at Missouri- (3:30 CBS) The Tide come into this one off a bye week while the Tigers are probably looking forward to theirs. Mizzou has been hit hard by injuries and also suspensions. Nick Saban's club should win pretty easily here.

Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 34-13

Florida at Vanderbilt- (6:00 ESPNU)- Fresh off their big win over LSU last week, the Gators are sitting on top of the SEC East with South Carolina.

The Commodores got a big win at MIssouri last week and play everyone tough at home and I think this one could go down to the wire.

Krystal Ball Says- Florida 28-24

South Carolina at LSU- (8:00 ESPN)- This is the big game in the SEC this weekend. The Gamecocks are coming off a big win over Georgia while the Tigers lost down in the swamp.

The big key for this one will be can the Tigers score enough points to keep up with Shaw, Lattimore and company. I am picking Spurrier's team to win in Death Valley.

Krystal Ball Says- South Carolina 17-14

Tennessee at Mississippi State- (9:00 ESPN2)- The Bulldogs are 5-0 for the first time since 1999 after last week's win over Kentucky.

This is a huge game for Tennessee in the SEC. The Vols put up 44 points in a loss at Georgia two weeks ago but these Bulldogs are better on D than Georgia.

This should be another close one but I am going with Dan Mullen's club.

Krystal Ball Says- Mississippi State 31-27

Texas A&M at Louisiana Tech- (9:15 ESPNU)- If you had told me before the season this might be the most entertaining game of the weekend I would have said you were crazy.

The Bulldogs are avering 44 points a game and have already knocked off Auburn this year.

The Aggies got a comback win over Ole MIss last week and this should be a shootout.

Krystal Ball Says- Texas A&M 48-42

Georgia has the week off this week. Thanks for reading see you in 7.

Ok so 6-1 for the week, missed the SC-LSU game.

Do you see the end to the A&M-Tech game, wow the Aggies were up 24-0 and ended up winning 59-57.
