Hello everyone and welcome back to another Krystal Ball. Another good week for me going 9-1 with the only loss being Arkansas (again). That makes the season record this year a very nice 40-6.
It is a light week in the SEC but lets dig right in and see if the Cats have a chance.
South Carolina at Kentucky- (7:00 ESPN2)- The last time the Gamecocks invaded Lexington, the Cats handed Steve Spurrier his first ever loss to UK.
Fast forward two years and USC comes into this one as its biggest favorite since they joined the SEC in 1992, 21 points.
I really want to say the Cats will come out fired out up and will pull another upset, but I can't. Spurrier was quoted earlier this week as saying, "we're better than Kentucky" and you know what he is right.
Krystal Ball Says- South Carolina 42-17
MIssouri at Central Florida- (NOON Fox Sports South)- The Tigers are still trying to get QB James Franklin going this season as he battles a shoulder injury.
The Knights are pretty good especially at home and I thought about taking them but in the end I am going to go with the SEC in a close one.
Krystal Ball Says- Missouri 28-24
Arkansas at Texas A&M- (12:21 SEC Network)- This one has an early start down in College Station and this could be a good one.
The wheels have totally come off down in Fayetteville and a road game may actually help them.
The Aggies need a win here as 5 of their next 6 are on the road, and I think they get it.
Krystal Ball Says- Texas A&M 31-20
Tennessee at Georgia- (3:30 CBS)- The 'Dawgs looked awesome in drilling Vandy last week while the Vols had to pull away late in the game to knock off Akron.
Playing at home I think Marc Richt's club should win fairly easily.
Krystal Ball Says- Georgia 38-17
Towson State at LSU- (7:00 ESPNU)- The Tigers barely survived a trip to Auburn last week and dropped a spot in the polls. This is one of those games when you are a good team you get the win and try to keep everyone healthy before LSU heads to Gainesville next week.
Krystal Ball Says- LSU 45-7
Ole Miss at Alabama- (9:15 ESPN)- The Tide won easily last week against Florida Atlantic while the Rebels got a shutout win over Tulane.
The Tide seems to be playing up or down to their competition this season and I think they will come out fast and take this one pretty handily.
Krystal Ball Says- Alabama 42-14
That is it for this week, everyone else has the week off. Thanks for reading and for supporting KSN. As always I would like to your picks or comments. See you in 7.

Comment by The Krystal Ball on October 2, 2012 at 1:38pm Thanks Faith Ann, appreciate it. I am a Bengals fan first but my favorite NFC team is the Packers, and having Cobb only helps.
Growing up my dad liked the Raiders and Packers, so that is where I started liking them.
The whole picking games things was something that I came up with when Greg Gorham started the site. We decided to call it the "Krystal Ball" in honor of his favorite eating place Krystals. :)
LOLZ Krystal.... good read and congrats on ya predictions. I don't pick games cause well I suck at it lolzz. I am still pizzed off at the Green Bay Game ...that so sucked. My dad is a die hard Packer Fan and my husband the same with the steelers, I just got on the Packer band wagon because of Randle Cobb is on there. Any who I wish ya well on your picks this week.
