I have been talking to some people within UK lately and assistants that tell me that Liggins is looking really good in practice so far and continues to get better. His height, strength, athleticism, with point guard skills allows him to do things in the DDMO that others on the team can't do at the pace Liggins can do it at.
Putting Liggins at a wing position in the DDMO is allowing him to just make plays instead of making decisions and that makes a world of a difference for Liggins. He is attacking the rim in practice with authority and is unstoppable at times.
This is great news to hear and just adds to the depth and strength of our team this season. One assistant thinks Liggins may end up winning a starting position at the wing/sf position if he keeps improving. Rather he does or not isn't important. What is important is that he is moving in that direction and that is great news.
