i agree with everything you said about Pelphrey, Blue Blood 00. Here is one of my favorite speeches I have from Pelphrey. I love the part when he says, "No, see it's not just another jersey, it's a matter of the heart"

You have to love hearing just the unbelievable passion that pours out of John Pelphrey when he speaks of UK. I love that he does not try to hide it no matter how the Arkansas fans take it. I remember on the day he was named the Coach at Arkansas in his speech, he spoke of bleeding UK Blue and he always will. That type of passion is what I would love to see in players who play for UK in the future. Which with John it is a special case. John played highschool basketball right here in the Mountains of Kentucky in the same region that my highschool plays in. He grew up about 25 mins away from where I live, and that is a little different because he grew up like me and so many others from the time he was a little kid dreaming of playing for UK, and he actually got to live that dream, probably way beyond his most wildest dreams. So I understand why most players will not understand that type of deep love for the school, but I would like to see more passion of future players who are made to understand what they represent, and how special what they are a part of is.
